Daytime Basketball Fundamentals

Learn-to-play! This is an instructional program for older adults in which they learn the fundamental movements and skills of basketball through drills and game play. Whether you’ve never touched a basketball before, or you were a star athlete in your prime, all skill levels are welcome. FREE

Drop-In Basketball

Drop-in basketball is for people of all skill levels that love to play in a competitive environment. Two courts and six nets available. Bring your own ball or borrow one of ours! $20 + ID deposit required to borrow.

*The gymnasium will be closed as of 7:00 pm on March 29, reopening April 1 at 2:00 pm.

Men's Basketball League

Recreational/Intermediate level, full-court basketball league - sign up as a team or individual! Stat-Tracked and officiated by two certified officials from the Toronto Associate of Basketball Officials (TABO). Ages 18+

Learn to Row

It’s never too late to start. Learn to Row with correct form and technique from a master athlete. Indoor rowing offers a whole-body, low-impact workout that enhances balance and coordination in addition to training strength, stamina, power, and mental focus. However, nothing about the rowing stroke is intuitive! Learning the correct technique under the guidance of an experienced coach not only prevents injury but maximizes the many benefits of this unique form of exercise. Choose between Level 1, Level 2, JCC Crew or Private Lessons.

Floor Hockey League

Running for over 30 years, this fast-paced league offers spirited competition with an emphasis on fair play and safety. Stay active and meet new people in a fun, non-contact environment.

Co-Ed Volleyball League

Wednesdays, January 10 - March 17, 2018
6:30 – 9:30 pm

One-hour drills to improve your skills plus two hours of play equals three hours of volleyball fun! All levels and individual players welcome. Please note that some previous experience in volleyball, with a basic set of fundamental skills in passing, bumping and setting, is expected.

Now in its second year at the Miles Nadal JCC, Pickleball borrows elements from tennis, badminton, and ping pong to offer a competitive challenge, and place less stress on the body than many other racquet sports. Racquets and pickleballs are provided! We are now recognized by the Pickleball Association of Ontario!
